I’m gonna let you all in on one of the dirty little secrets of rock music, which is that you can sometimes hide sloppy lead playing with the right kind of distortion. For the solo on this track, I’m playing completely off time and randomly running up and down the minor pentatonic. But hey, that’s the sound.

I went into this session with not a lot of ideas beforehand, so the track just kind of goes where it goes.
